Lord Ram’s Ayodhya to get massive 40 MW solar power plant
he Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the allocation of 𝟏𝟔𝟓 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 in Rampur Halwara village along the 𝐀𝐲𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐲𝐚-𝐆𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐣 route for a 𝟒𝟎𝐌𝐖 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Ayodhya. This solar power project is a collaboration between the state government and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited and aims to make Ayodhya a solar-powered hub.
The land, near the Saryu river, will be leased to 𝐍𝐓𝐏𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 for 30 years at a nominal rent, with an investment of approximately Rs 160 crore. The project is expected to generate over 1 crore units of clean energy, contributing to the local energy supply. The initiative aligns with Ayodhya’s focus on eco-friendly and sustainable practices, including green energy solutions and wastewater discharge plants in commercial projects. Additionally, the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for early 2024.
