CSR Activities Of Navitas Solar

Initiatives in education, environment and skill development forms a sizeable chunk of Navitas Solar’s community outreach programmes. We contribute to the well being of people by introducing sustainable measures and providing assistance to institutions across India influencing the lives of marginalized communities.

Sustainable Development

We have always considered sustainable development the cornerstone of our business strategy. We seek to achieve sustainable and profitable growth, creating thriving eco-systems around all our businesses. Our strategy includes fostering close and continuous interaction with people and communities around our manufacturing divisions, bringing qualitative changes in their lives and supporting the underprivileged.

Tribal Education in Association with Ekal Vidhyalaya

Navitas Green Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has collaborated with Sanskar Shiksha Kendra, Shri Hari Satsang Samiti, Surat. The organization tries to make the tribal life addiction free and tries to help them live a life in the best possible way with their available resources. 140 villages of Gujarat are adopted by Navitas Solar through this initiative.

Tree Plantation in Association with Forest Creators

Pulwama Shahid Vann is a Project for creating Dense Miyawaki Forest of 40,000 trees in conjunction with the Social Forestry Department. It is done in commemoration of the Indian soldiers who so valiantly fought for our motherland and become Martyrs in the Pulwama Battle. 1000 trees are planted for each of the 40 soldiers who became martyrs. We are happy to report that the Project is a resounding success so far. Navitas Solar has planted 5000 trees till now in different areas of Gujarat.

Skill Training & Development in Association with Round Table Foundation

Round Table India is the one foundation, which helps to underprivileged children to have a good life. The children who are orphans or who are having very bad family conditions or whose parents have abandon them are taken care and given education through Round Table India. In Gujarat, these schools are famous as Ashram Shalas, These are the schools which are built by the Round Table India in an interior village where the accessibility of transportation, education, good food and other facilities are nearly zero. The underprivileged children gets education in the Ashram Shala and they live in the building only. Each school is having 100-150 students.

Skill Training & Development in Association with Anil Naik Technical Training Centre

Anil Naik Technical Training Centre (ANTTC) was amongst the first to introduce the concept of skill training for school dropouts for villages in south Gujarat. Taking into consideration that tremendous job opportunities in the state of Gujarat a new training program in solar power technician skill was started. Navitas Solar is an industry partner for Solar trade of ANNTC, we are continuously supporting the institute with technical expertise to be in line with latest developments in solar sector, also placement opportunities are extended to deserving students. We are motivating students’ for skill training, as Navitas Solar believes that if youth of the nation is skilled, it will highly influence the economy of the nation, in that way India’s growth can be realised in a realistic way.

JYOTI Initiative

A lecture on “Sustainability-A Path for the Future” was delivered to spread awareness about environment, sustainability, carbon neutrality in the young students. Our aim is to sensitize the younger generation, which may help them to become a responsible citizen utilizing the resources of mother earth in a conscious way. Navitas Solar has launched JYOTI initiative as a drive of giving back to the society. The slogan for the JYOTI initiative is “Prajwalito Gyanmayah Pradeepah” which means lit the lamp of knowledge. We have touched upon various SDGs and aware the students about the same. This kind of lecture satisfies SDGs like 4. Quality Education, 7. Affordable and Clean energy. To let the students know how actually solar industry works, Navitas Solar has arranged frequent visits of students. Visit may give the students a good exposure of the industry. This kind of visit satisfies the following SDGs: 4. Quality Education, 7. Affordable and Clean energy. We are humbled to announce that till now we have sensitized 900+ students through this initiative.
