Israel launches its largest solar project
There is big news from Israel – the country has launched its largest solar project! The goal of a new solar energy initiative in the Jezreel Valley is to increase Israel’s energy capacity.
It is anticipated that by the end of the first half of next year, the project will provide electricity to approximately 250,000 Israelis residing in over 60,000 households.
The project will operate with an installed capacity of 250 megawatts, which is equivalent to 5.2% of Israel’s renewable energy capacity and 1.2% of its total electricity capacity. It is estimated to have a total financial volume of NIS 900 million.
We, at Navitas Solar, hail this initiative by Israel. Israel has always been at the forefront of technological advancements, just like modern India. Such ambitious and large-scale projects will also create an example for other countries and make the world more environmentally sustainable and efficient.
