The latest report by ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ (๐๐๐๐) reveals that approximately ๐๐% ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ.
As of June 30, 2023, the cumulative capacity of ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐,๐๐๐ ๐๐. The states with the highest ongoing solar project capacities are Rajasthan (23,344 MW),Gujarat (12,424 MW), Maharashtra (3,773 MW), Andhra Pradesh (2,650 MW) and Karnataka (2,181 MW). These five states are not only leading in solar projects but also have the highest installed renewable energy capacity in total. They account for approximately ๐๐% ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐’๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ.
